The mountains are a wonderful place to practice many activities and enjoy the wilderness. Whether around Whitehorse or up to the Yukon’s highest peak. Mountains cover most of the Yukon. Mountains are also a special environment, especially here in the North. Knowledge is the first and most important step to enjoying the mountains safely.

This 2:30 presentation will teach you about the dangers and pitfalls to avoid on your winter or summer adventures.

Learn how to identify hazards, avoid pitfalls and recognize signs.

Local examples, feedback, accident descriptions and analysis.

This presentation focuses on the Yukon environment, with numerous photos and videos.
